Clients & other folks have often asked me what the Fundamental Field (FF) actually is. Here is my answer, based on my experience & what Dr. Metz has explained to me:

Dynamic Divine Energy is the Blueprint for all that Matters (pun intended)! We are FRACTALLY connected to the entire universe by a FRACTAL pattern that occurs across all of creation (“fractal”, meaning same pattern, different scales). Dr. Metz calls this his “Fundamental Field Theory”. In his theory, the human body is energetically organized like an atom in this pattern of polarized energy.

(Dr. Metz can show you how, but it takes a book/seminar to do so thoroughly & sufficiently. You can also click on my Facebook link, & go to my “Illustration of the FF” photo album which shows a very rudimentary rendering of the FF pattern as drawn by Dr. Metz).

The FF has 3 Poles – Positive, Neutral & Negative: (These references are not value judgements – Energy just “IS”)

1.) The Positive Pole is located at the head, sacrum, spine & coccyx areas (as in Cranio-Sacral Therapy).

2). The Neutral Pole is located within the Acupuncture/Jin Shin meridian system on the head, limbs & torso.

3.) The Negative Pole is located within the chakra system (as in Polarity Therapy), which is formed by the energy pathways criss-crossing along the spine, often referred to as the caduceus, demonstrated by the “staff” emblem. (Actually the proper use of the caduceus symbol is a subject of debate; a form of it is still used by the AMA & other conventional medical groups. Regardless, energy pathways do criss-cross along the spine in that fashion, so I imagine that had something to do with the origin & widespread use of the symbol).

Thus, as you can imagine, a single FF session incorporates the modalities of Cranio-Sacral, Acupressure & Jin Shin reflex points, & Polarity all into one therapy.

And all these combined, generate an entire Fundamental Field Pattern of Energy which consists of:

3 Poles

5 Gross Aspects (as States of Matter)

10 elements

18 Spinning Chakras

26 Sub-Chakras

3 Dimensions of Space

1 Dimension of Time

Each of the above contains & is affected by the 5 Subtle Vibratory Levels:

1.) Psychology (Ether)

2.) Motion (Air)

3.) Physiological Motivation (Fire)

4.) Biochemistry (Water)

5.) Structure (Earth)

These Levels resonate with & organize the 5 Gross Aspects (States of Matter) within the body:

1.) Space (Ether)

2.) Gases (Air)

3.) Chemical Transformations – which create heat, energy & change (Fire)

4.) Fluids (Water)

5.) Solids (Earth)

This energy field can be treated practically & therapeutically with a protocol that maximizes the flow of Life-Energy throughout the system, optimizing health. When a person comes to us for treatment, we assess their entire energy system, on every level, to determine how these energies are interacting & how to best intervene for the highest good of the individual – the ultimate Mind-Body Energy Medicine.

FF Therapy depends not only on knowledge of the energetic system, but also on the use of intuition & energy resonance techniques. The latter is actually the best & most efficient way to approach a bodywork session, as each unique system, at any one time, has too many complex interactional variables for an overly structured, linear “one-size-fits-all” treatment method.

That’s it in a nutshell!

The Causes & Solutions for Stress in Our Daily Lives

There are three components to the concept of stress:

1.) The Stressor

2.) The Processing of that Information

3.) The Stress Response

The stressor is the stimulus that initiates the stress response. Connecting the stressor stimulus to the stress response, is the informational processing component of the individual (which of course varies from person to person, situation to situation). Information processing by the individual is the component that determines WHICH stimulus is indeed a stressor to that person. This can all occur very swiftly, or build over time.

Thus we have:

Stress Stimulus + Informational Processing = Stress Response.

The stress response is well-defined and involves all aspects of the individual, from psychological to physiological. This response is a “call to action” response from a threat, or sense of urgency, about something in one’s environment. It is designed to be a short-term event. Too much stress response, especially when it turns chronic, undermines our health.

The stress response is non-specific, it is not limited to any specific stimuli. Any number of different stimuli, which can be ANY aspect of one’s life, can become a stressor and initiate a stress response. The stress response is cumulative; many different SMALL stressors can have the same effect as one LARGE stressor.

The key to managing stress is to address EACH of the three components:

1.)  Remove the stressor (which is not always feasible);

2.)  Change how we process the information so that the stressor’s meaning to us is not so compelling or threatening (via mindful reflection, meditation, counseling, energy treatments, etc.);

3.) Counteract the effects of the stress response (through energy/massage treatments, supplementation, exercise, rest/sleep, diet, fun, etc.).

These three approaches interact in positive self-reinforcing ways. For example, removing the effects of the stress response allows us to process information in different ways, changing the meaning of the stressor, and providing insight as how to more effectively remove the stressors, which in turn means less stress response.

Potential stressors are internal as well as external. Our thoughts can initiate a stress response without the presence of an external stressor. For example, when our thoughts are difficult to control, negative, self-reinforcing, and part of a stress-creating pattern, we then have post-traumatic stress syndrome.

Conscious/unconscious internal conflicts can be a source of continuous chronic stress. Our impulses to act are blocked by conflict, building tension. We are compelled to act, but can’t, because our conscious/unconscious selves may see any other alternative as threatening in some way. The best approach to resolving INTERNAL stress is to handle in the same way as our approach to EXTERNAL stress, by addressing ALL THREE components.

Fundamental Field Theory Usage of Common Terms & Conditions:

Listed Alphabetically, Not Categorically

Addiction / Codependence / Passive-Aggressiveness / Obsessive-Compulsiveness / Anal-Retentiveness = unconsciously motivated dysfunctional behaviors which attempt to meet needs/calm anxiety/gain control in indirect ways, without having to face the problem head on, through: relinquishing personal power through dependence fixation; pleasing others at sacrifice to one’s self; non-confrontational hostility; fixation on indulgent & repetitive activities; fixation on order & perfectionism.

Beneficial = addresses one or more symptoms. Differentiated from therapeutic – a temporary, though beneficial, shift of energy which does not address the deeper problems, but may hold you together / make you feel better in the meantime. After stopping the therapy, the symptoms usually return (like when that cup of coffee wears off, this can apply to supplements or treatments too, as well as other interactions with people/places/things).

Block = disruption in the flow of energy (mind, body, emotion, spirit).

Compensation = a survival/adaptive strategy which doesn’t resolve a problem, but it’s what helps to keep us together by having another area, of our system or our lifestyle, pick up the slack & allow us to function until we’re ready to heal. a neutralizing vector charge. They can be supported as part of the therapy. Even smoking, overeating or overworking can be a compensation.

Conflict = at odds within self – can be the conscious mind vs. unconscious mind, the conscious mind vs. conscious mind, or the unconscious mind vs. unconscious mind.

Decompensation = getting worse because the thing was allowing us to “function” has been taken away at the wrong time. This can render us unable to function without any real benefit & make us act/feel “crazy”. A therapy which is wrong for us or takes us too far can decompensate us. Even a flu bug, a bad night’s sleep or the wrong foods can, as well. A specific stress such as this can specifically alter / effect the compensation we have in place, in a direct & localized way.

Defense = a survival/adaptive strategy which doesn’t resolve a problem, but it’s what keeps us together by creating a block in that energy field. We are anticipating & warding off “danger” by creating a barrier to protect the self, which blocks energy. The energy in the system that wants to flow is continually pushing against the defensive block. Maintaining that block takes a lot of energy, puts pressure on us & creates conflict, pain/discomfort within us (mentally/emotionally/physically).

Depletion = getting worse / feeling badly because of energies being drained in a specific area, can be cumulative or for various reasons.

Destabilization = getting worse, a specific stress which causes a generalized stress reaction, weakening the entire system & showing all the weakest links.

Disassociation = parts of the system run away into space (the subtle ether aspect of the body) in order to escape.

Displacement = can’t deal with the situation in one place, so it’s thrown into a “safer” place that it would not normally go (takes a lot of unconscious energy, intention & effort).

Energy Resonance = mindfully using an intuitive “felt sense” in order to tune-in to the various energy frequencies of people, places or things; everything has an energy resonance.

Enmeshment = internalizing/responding to/taking responsibility for the “Need”, or expectations, being directed specifically at you, inappropriately, by someone else in order to get their needs met & making you responsible for doing so (like “Need”, usually initially experienced with a parent when we were young, making us more vulnerable now).

Fundamental Field (F2) = the fundamental pattern arranging the field of subtle life-energy, organizing matter into the forms & functions of life, as a large-scale atomic structure.

Gestalt = part of the healing process. Consciously going back in time & connecting in the “Here & Now” to something you previously experienced, but that’s been tucked away. A whole with emergent properties all its own. Per Webster’s Dictionary, “A pattern of physical/biological/psychological phenomena so integrated as to constitute a functional unit with properties not derivable from its parts in summation”. You know you’ve tapped into it when you feel a visceral response in your body, or stumble on something unexpected.

Healing Crisis = a vital part of the healing process, when a compensation is taken away, or released, at the right time, when you have the energy/support to deal with something you were previously unable to let go of. This can be extremely uncomfortable, disturbing or unsettling, especially if you try to fight it. After all, this is the gunk you’ve been avoiding for the very reason that it is so painfully unbearable. Try not to analyze or judge. You must be present & “feel it to heal it”. You don’t have to “do” anything to try to fix it. This is not about taking action. This is about lovingly & compassionately giving yourself the space & permission to face the pain & be with it. No one can do it for you, or make it better. It is recommended to have a trusted “other” to call on if it gets too unbearable, especially if you think you might hurt yourself. If you are alone, try to bring yourself back into your body & calm down by taking a shower, eating, going outside (in bare feet), cuddling an animal, or reading a comforting spiritual or inspirational text.

Increased Defense/Compensation/Conflict = when you are pushed toward something, either internally/externally, & you don’t want to be; it is beyond your resources to deal with it & you feel extremely overwhelmed (the least little thing, from another person’s point of view, could be what pushes you over the edge & even you may not know why).

Intuition = an inner knowing when we connect to & trust our ever-present innately intelligent Higher Self.

Need = internalizing/responding to/taking responsibility for the general neediness in your environment, which is not specifically directed at you, but that you are vulnerable to.

Normal Process = any “healthy, well-balanced” person would react in the same way in your situation; it is a normal & natural process that you’re going through.

Over-Compensation = taking a neutralizing/counterbalancing compensation too far, past the point of utility, thereby creating new symptoms within the compensation.

Pathway = the intensified & specific flow of energy in a particular direction (i.e. meridian).

Performance Enhancing = enhances the energy facilities, ahead of time, that are needed to perform better in a specific situation (which may address a specific symptom).

Phase Space Fractal Atom (PSFA) = the value of all the variables in one’s F2, & how they interact, define their position on the PSFA Quads (Yin/Yang/Stable/Adaptable).

Point = a concentrated area of energy that reflexes to other places in the body.

Processing / Re-associating = usually part of the healing process, though it can happen as a result of decompensation which is not ideal. Working through something (can happen unconsciously, you may feel its effects but not know what’s going on). This cannot be forced through will alone, but what we can do is to set an intention for healing, remain open to the process & trust it, be mindful & “feel it”, but try not to “act out” on others. The energy is moving through all of the system & you are dealing with it without disassociation or compensation blockages. You can have processing without releasing, but not releasing without processing, unless it’s not in a healing context – retrauma or decompensation.

Processing Sensitivity = new on old trigger (there is some objective truth to what’s happening, but subjectively your reactive charge is more intense than it should be for the actual circumstances). Usually occurs when we are also going through, & trying to deal with, the processing/releasing phase of healing. This can make us more prone to projection/transference.

Projecting = projecting our inner psyche outwards. Making someone else responsible by attributing (something in one’s own mind) to another person, group, or object (i.e., you yourself are angry, but you don’t see it, you see the other person as the one who is angry & therefore the one with the problem). Usually this manifests in our relationships (unconsciously) because of the dysfunctional bonding patterns we formed as children. We unconsciously attract, or are attracted to, the people or situations which resonate with this pattern, until we heal it within ourselves.

Recapitulation = repeating a childhood pattern (automatically implies retraumatization, reenactment of something that is unresolved, disassociation & transference).

Regression = not part of the healing process, getting worse, reacting negatively, energies are heading in the wrong direction.

Releasing = when the energy starts to shift as a part of processing as part of healing, or as a result of decompensation, what emerges from letting go of compensation/releasing the blocks. This cannot be forced through will, but what we can do is to set an intention for healing, remain open to the process & trust it, be mindful & “feel it”, but try not to “act out” on others.

Reorganizing = part of the healing process, usually a more permanent shift to a higher state (or lower, which may not be healing).

Resolving = part of healing, getting better, reacting positively, energies are heading in the right direction.

Retracing = same process as regressing, except this is part of the healing process. Letting down defenses & letting go of compensations, if they exist, & then putting them back up again & going backwards, in order to stabilize & consolidate gains (two steps forward & one step back). Applies to more than just psychological processing.

Retrauma Sensitivity = part of the healing process, new on old trigger (we are still sensitive, but not out of projection or transference, a more mindful, less reactionary state).

Sanskara = a trauma/issue that we have brought with us from a past life, & is still affecting us. If it can’t be explained by this life then it is sanskaric, everything else is karma.

Stabilization = an incomplete compensation that keeps you stable. It is not neutralizing, but it keeps you from getting worse.

Therapeutic = addresses one or more causes, a deeper & more lasting shift in energy which continues after stopping the actual therapy (treatment, supplements, or otherwise).

Transferring = making someone else responsible by redirecting feelings & desires, especially those unconsciously retained from childhood, towards a new object. Transference is a more global form of Projection, like “Projection-Gestalt”, taken as whole, not as a summation of individual parts. Usually manifests in our relationships (unconsciously) because of the dysfunctional bonding patterns we formed as children; unconsciously we attract, or are attracted to, the people/situations that resonate with this pattern, until we heal it.

Trauma/Retrauma (Old/New) = an emotional/mental/physical/physiological event which causes damage & can trigger a defensive/compensatory reaction pattern that blocks energy.

The following can be asked of Adaptive Strategies / Physical Manifestations / Behaviors / Accidents / Events / Trauma:

“What was it a result of…?”
- Purpose = something that’s unconsciously & intentionally created by us for a reason, to serve a purpose in our life. We change our energy to manifest it.
- Consequence = something that’s a consequence of something that’s been created for a purpose. It has no purpose itself, but it’s the price we pay for the manifestation.
- Co-Opting = something that occurs afterwards – using something that comes along, altering it, hanging on to it & using it for a purpose.
- Circumstance = It’s just something that happened, that anyone may have experienced if put in the same situation.
- Combination of the Above / None of the Above (i.e., stems from something like stress or depletion)

The bodywork that I offer promotes effective self-healing by gently facilitating the movement & balancing of your body’s polarized life-energy.

My work addresses the physical, mental, & emotional energy fields interconnected within you which combine to produce your current state of being. The polarity & energy of my hands, as they touch your body, changes your energy field, especially due to my therapeutic intent, as well as yours.

My hands automatically intensify or inhibit the flow of energy in your system, as necessary – your own body doing the “triage” of sorts. It is not necessarily good for a person to “release” before he/she is ready to do so, having the energy & resources to deal with the results. For old patterns to be released, it is up to your own body’s innate intelligence to determine when, if, & how this will happen, Dr. Metz & I just help point things in the right direction. These treatments reestablish your normal energy pattern so that you can better resonate & draw energy from universal sources – food, other people, nature, etc…When you are compromised, you lose your normal energy pattern; all you are getting is “static”. This work helps you to get “back in tune”, reorganizing your system to a more efficient state, so you that you can draw in energy at optimal levels.

I do this by incorporating Dr. Metz’ Fundamental Field Theory & Therapy protocols, as well as standardized Polarity Therapy protocols, while intuitively tailoring each treatment to your unique needs at that time. Rather than manipulating the tissues, my emphasis is on manipulating the energy field, from which all else manifests (that’s why it’s called “fundamental”!). Therefore, I may not directly contact your specific area of concern, but rather the areas to which I’m drawn, the reflex areas. In doing so, I am supporting your entire system in its healing, including your specific area of concern. There are literally thousands of energy pathways & corresponding reflex areas throughout the body, as well as complex interacting variables which are affecting your system. Because of my training I am familiar with the most common pathways; I know how to address them, & the others, by utilizing energy evaluation resonance methods, & intuition, which is the way it is most effectively & efficiently accomplished.

During a session, you recline comfortably-clothed on the treatment table. Using my knowledge of the subtle energetic patterns of your body, with my hands & intuition as my guide, I determine when & where to apply various modes of gentle/firm touch, as needed: holds, patting, tapping, tracing, traction, rocking, shaking, pressure & light massage. Like in a water hose analogy, when debris is removed in one area, the flow of water in the whole hose is affected. Like the energy in the body, it is connected, & the whole system is affected by the blocking & unblocking of a specific area. I may need to shake, press, & squeeze to loosen the debris, or I may need to increase the pressure on one side of the clog in order to push it through.

As a result, the energy begins to free-up, move & reorganize to where it’s needed most. You may feel heat or cold, experience wavelike sensations, sigh deeply, become very relaxed….or you may become uncomfortable at times as you release old & familiar aches & pains, or have other types of common releases (i.e., hiccuping, murmuring, yawning, itching, twitching, tingling…). Certain impressions may also release into your consciousness: thoughts, emotions, memories, colors or other imagery. You may feel absolutely nothing taking place, or you may have a profound experience. I generally stay quiet so that I can listen to your body directing me, but you are free to express yourself however you need to, or not at all. Each time is different for each person.

After a session, you may continue to feel inexplicable shifts in your emotional, mental or physical states, in the days or weeks following your visit. You may feel instantly better, or you may initially feel worse. If worse, though it can be unsettling, this too is a vital part of the holistic healing process. Unresolved traumas & deeply held adaptive patterns, coupled with the ups & downs of daily living, are often what create depletions or excesses in our system. These distortions affect us, right down to a cellular level, & prevent the free flow of life-sustaining energy, causing imbalance, distress & ill-health.

When these old patterns are brought to the surface & allowed to release, a new standard of well-being can begin to emerge. There are often many layers to peel away. Don’t worry; your body’s innate intelligence will direct the pacing, timing, & avenues of release & growth that are just right for you. Have faith & trust the process, even if it gets difficult. Transitions such as these originate on a higher, subtle energetic level, & may take some time to reach conscious, physical awareness or understanding, but in the meantime progress is being made. From personal experience, I know that it does help to have a good support system of trusted loved ones, acquaintances &/or health providers, namely & foremost, some sort of spiritual belief &/or practice to hold onto, especially when your healing presents challenges.

Having treatments over time, with renewed perspective, you may gain a sense of clarity & an improved ability to deal with past & present life issues. Healthier boundaries can then begin to form — accepting responsibility for your own feelings, thoughts, behaviors & actions, & letting others do the same for themselves; forgiving & letting go; valuing, embracing & expressing yourself more fully. By connecting to, integrating with, & reflecting on all the many facets of yourself, YOU CAN LEARN to better hear, appreciate, respect & RELY on your OWN INTUITIVE inner voice — if you take the time IN SILENCE to LISTEN & to TRUST. This is a dynamic, life-long process!

My goal as a practitioner is to provide a comfortable & safe environment for you, to remain present & attentive, & approach the work with a commitment towards love, compassion & the highest of intentions. I view the opportunity to work with you as an honor & a privilege.

The Five Elemental Chakras of Polarity Therapy
(The Negative Pole of the Fundamental Field)

It has long been held by many ancient traditions of the world that universal life-energy comes from a spiritual source which pervades all of creation. This spiritual energy is said to enter & exit the body through the forehead at what is referred to as the “third eye.” It then flows outward & downward into the body, in prescribed pathways, giving it animation. According to Dr. Richard Metz, the pattern which arranges this subtle life-energy, organizing matter into the forms & functions of life, is called the Fundamental Field℠. This Field has three major poles: positive, neutral & negative (which encompass the mind & emotions, both conscious & unconscious).

According to Dr. Metz’ Fundamental Field Theory, what is known as Polarity Therapy primarily addresses the energy flowing through the negative pole of the body, at its midline. Here the energy criss-crosses, creating the caduceus, which in turn houses five distinct chakra centers. These chakra centers are like large-scale electrons, each with a negative electrostatic charge, & as they spin they create the subtle magnetic fields of the body. In doing so, each chakra gives rise to a different “element”. Each element, then, is a manifestation of polarized subtle life-energy vibrating at different frequencies within the body, thus affecting it in different ways.

The Polarity Therapy elements/chakras are known as: Ether, Air, Fire, Water & Earth. (These elements are not the same as the acupuncture elements/chakras of Metal, Fire, Wood, Earth, & Water; those are part of the neutral pole of the Fundamental Field & have different functions/associations). Most energy blocks are here in the negative pole chakras, the storehouse of mostly unconscious emotional energy that we’ve developed since conception. This unconscious energy is what drives our mostly conscious mind (the positive pole) & helps to form the attitudes, beliefs, conflicts & stresses we experience as a result. Any issue, such as abuse, abandonment, need &/or enmeshment – with a person, place &/or thing – can affect any chakra.

We may be feeling discomfort in our body, mind, &/or emotions, but most of us aren’t in touch with how they are all connected. If we were aware of the deeper causes & connections, we wouldn’t have the problem. The first step is to grasp our issues intellectually at first, to understand, at least conceptually. The rest will follow naturally as it should. How much bodywork a person needs usually correlates with how much psychological energy is tied up in the problem. Sometimes the bodywork is done first to get the energy moving in the right direction, & sometimes changes in lifestyle need to come first in order to change the energy. (That will be determined upon your visit).

All five elements exist within all five of the chakras. In each chakra, Ether represents the Level of Psychology, Air is the Level of Motion, Fire is the Level of Physiological Motivation, Water is Level of Biochemistry, & Earth is the Level of Structure. Also, every element exists within every cell of our body; however, the following are some of the predominant reflex associations/reflex areas for each element:

What is Energy Medicine, Polarity Therapy & Dr. Metz’ Fundamental Field Theory & Therapy?

Energy Medicine:

From the book Bodywork by Thomas Claire: “Energetic bodywork is on the cutting edge of modern thought, where scientist, mystic & sage meet. Practices grouped under this heading have a common goal of influencing a subtle invisible, electromagnetic flow of energy that surrounds & infuses the body & that is referred to as the human energy field. This life energy is known variously as chi’i (Chinese), ki (Japanese), prana (Sanskrit), orgone (Reichian therapy), & bioplasm (Soviet research). Energetic bodywork approaches represent contemporary interpretations & synthesis of age-old practices that are descended from a variety of healing traditions, including Chinese medicine, Indian Ayurveda, Tibetan Buddhism, & Western metaphysics. They are complemented by contemporary insights gleaned from quantum physics, the burgeoning field of psychoneuroimmunolgy (PIN), depth psychology, Western medical practice, & modern consciousness research.”

Polarity Therapy:

A form of energy medicine developed in the 1950’s by Randolph Stone (1890-1981) an Austrian-born naturopath, osteopath & chiropractic doctor. Dr. Stone traveled widely & researched eastern philosophies & modalities extensively. As a result of his research, Dr. Stone defined a “wireless anatomy” of polarized energy pathways in & around the human body.

Dr. Stone based his new findings on seeing traditional medicine in the context of modern physics, primarily as polarized electromagnetic energy. This provided a modern explanation for the principle that it is the dynamic tension of energetic opposites which creates & sustains our universe. (All nature, in fact manifests a polarity between positive & negative charges, with an intermediate neutral area.

All energy, whether positive or negative, is neither good nor bad. Energy simply “is”). The human body, then, is also comprised of these positive, neutral & negative poles, which exist in various zones throughout the body. It is the magnetic forces of attraction & repulsion between these poles that propel the circulation & flow of life-sustaining energy in the body. The art of polarity therapy lies in balancing the rhythmic flow of energy between these poles, thereby promoting & restoring health.

Dr. Stone named his approach “Polarity Therapy” because it is based on the premise that these vibrating fields of polarized electromagnetic energy within the body can be affected therapeutically by human touch & attention. When we experience emotional, mental or physical trauma, the electromagnetic charge of the bodily tissues is altered, disrupting the polarity & causing blocks. If these blocks are left untended, illness & disease are likely to develop, as well as feelings of mental & emotional imbalance. (Taken in part from Bodywork).

Dr. Metz’ Fundamental Field Theory & Therapy: (a.k.a. Advanced Polarity, Advanced Energy Medicine)

Dr. Richard Metz’ Fundamental Field℠ Theory & Therapy starts with Polarity Therapy & Dr. Stone’s approach of understanding traditional medicine in the context of modern science, primarily electromagnetic energy. Stone’s Polarity model did not include acupuncture or Jin Shin meridians, nor did he provide a scientific description of spirit/mind/body connections. The Fundamental Field℠ does these things.

Dr. Metz has organized his thinking in such a way that he can describe simply, & access vast amounts of information, relatively quickly & easily according to how he thinks & knows the body works. He knows & understands the intricacies of our systems’ interconnectedness & therefore he knows the meaning behind what he does.

Dr. Metz’ brand of energy work was developed through 25 yrs. of education, research & training in psychology, chiropractic, polarity therapy, acupressure, quantum physics, systems theory, mind/body medicine, his successful private practice, & highly integrated intuitive sense. His work is groundbreaking in several ways. It theoretically unites the formerly separate healing disciplines of energy medicine – ayurveda, acupuncture/acupressure, Jin Shin & Polarity Therapy – all branches of the same family tree. By integrating these disciplines into one therapeutic approach, Dr. Metz has created a distinct method which is as efficient as it is effective.

It is based on a scientific theory that he has developed which illustrates exactly how our body, mind, spirit & emotions are energetically intertwined, & how we as humans are connected to the spiritual & physical realms of creation via a specific energy pattern he’s named the Fundamental Field (or as we sometimes refer to it, FF or F2).
